As part of the natural history museum "Museum am Schölerberg" reopening in Osnabrück, I was asked to design animated infographics from data scaps, which are now part of the new permanent exhibition.
Global processes, numbers and networks were presented in the context of temporal changes over several decades to show how our world has changed. In this sense, more awareness of globality is created and also our handling of resources, biodiversity and other ecological aspects are questioned.
The designed animations were projected vertically from the ceiling onto a physically printed wooden panel about 3 metres long. In this way, the digital content augmented the world map printed there, and push-buttons were used to switch between the individual films.
